Flying in and out of Charlotte, NC via Charlotte Douglas International Airport

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is one of the busiest airports in the nation. It is a major international airport with direct flights to and from most major domestic airports as well as a number of international ones.

There are 5 main terminals at CLT, A-E. For a map of the terminals, click here. All terminals are pretty normal with food, magazine shops, and bathrooms with the exception of terminal E. If you are flying out of terminal E, you may want to account for an extra 5-10 minutes of walking time. This terminal services most domestic, short flights and is a very long terminal that actually splits into two sub-terminals towards the end.

After you go through security, you’ll enter the main terminal with the bulk food and dining available.
